Golden Visa Permit Programme
The programme seeks to attract foreign individuals who will be entitled to obtain a residence permit upon making one of the following investments:

OPTION 1
CAPITAL INVESTMENT
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - €500,000
Transfer of capital applied to research activities by public or private scientific research instituitions.
OPTION 2
CAPITAL INVESTMENT
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - €250,000
Transfer of capital to an approved investment or support for artistic production, recovery, or maintenance of national cultural heritage.
OPTION 3
CAPITAL INVESTMENT
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - €500,000
Transfer of capital for the acquisition of units of investment funds or venture capital fund of funds dedicated to the capitalization of companies, capital injected under the Portuguese legislation, whose maturity, at the moment of the investment, is at least of five years and, at least 60% of the investments is realized in commercial companies with head office in national territory
OPTION 4
CAPITAL INVESTMENT
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - €500,000
Transfer capital of at least €500,000 intended for the incorporation of a commercial company in Portugal, combined with the creation of at least five permanent jobs for a minimum period of three years, or maintain 10 existing jobs.
OPTION 5
JOB CREATION
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - N/A
Must create a minimum of 10 permanent jobs for a minimum period of 5 years.
D7 Residency Visa Permit
The programme seeks to attract foreign individuals who will be entitled to obtain residency through the following option:
D7 - STABLE INCOME VISA
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - N/A
Designed for applicants who intend to relocate to Portugal and can prove a stable income from one of the following sources: pension, income from movable, immovable or intellectual property, income from financial investments, or religious activity. Although the programme is popular amongst retirees, it is open to anyone assuming they can meet the minimum income requirements:

You must have enough money to sustain yourself and your family. The actual amount required depends on the family members included:
- Main applicant must have a minimum income of €10,644 / year
- For each additional adult, you must add 50% of the income requirement; minimum of €5,322 each / year
- For each minor dependent children, you must add 30% of the income requirement; minimum of €3,193.20 each / year
D2 Entrepreneur Visa
The programme seeks to attract foreign individuals who will be entitled to obtain residency through the following option:
D2 ENTREPRENEUR VISA
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - N/A
Designed for entrepreneurs who intend to do business in Portugal. The programme is open to applicants from outside the EU who will complete one of the following:
- Purchase a local company.
- Create a branch of an existing legal entity.
- Establish a new company in the country and provide a detailed business plan describing the prospects for its development and benefits to the country’s economy.
Please Note:
There is no minimum investment requirement under the D2 program. The main applicant is required to show a bank balance of €9,840, the applicant must add €4,920 for each adult relative and €2,460 for a child.

Applicants must confirm their place of residence through a lease or sale agreement to obtain their residence permit.
Nomad Residency Visa
The Nomad Residency Visa offers remote workers and their families the opportunity to become residents in Portugal.
DIGITAL NOMAD VISA
MINIMUM INVESTMENT - N/A
Designed for remote workers who intend to relocate to Portugal and can prove a stable income from salary or service agreements. The programme is open to applicants from outside the EU who are employed by a company outside of Portugal or self-employed.
Applicants to this programme must:
- Be able to meet the income requirement of €3,280 per month. The applicant must provide evidence of employment contracts as well as proof of previous 3 months income through bank statements.
- Obtain a Personal Tax Number (NIF)
- Open a Portuguese bank account
Please Note:
While it is not required, we strongly recommend transferring funds into the newly opened Portuguese bank account. This will help provide evidence that applicants meet the minimum income requirement and will accelerate the application process.
